Shaun Wright-Phillips believes Manchester City can beat Dynamo Kiev in Europa League

Shaun Wright-Phillips insists Manchester City can beat Dynamo Kiev and progress to the Europa League quarter-finals.[LNB]City lost the first leg 2-0 thanks to an inspirational display from Kiev's former Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko.[LNB]But Wright-Phillips, who was recalled to the first team for the FA Cup tie against Reading, is confident City can overcome the odds at Eastlands.[LNB] Still got it: Shevchenko (left) put a major dent in City's Euopra League hopes[LNB] 'We believe we can beat Kiev. If we create one or two chances and wetake them, then it's a whole new ball game,' he said. [LNB]'We know we have to go outthere and start firing straight from kick off and create as manychances as possible. You never know what may happen.[LNB]'It all depends on what tactics the gaffer gives us but we know once weget one chance we have to take it to open the game up a bit more.[LNB]''We want to win all the games we play really so the more trophies wecan bring back in one year the merrier. [LNB]'If we get a good result againstDynamo Kiev and Chelsea we'll be in a good position so hopefully we canmaintain the confidence.'[LNB]Wright-Phillips has struggled to hold down a first team place under Roberto Mancini but hopes to build on his performance against Reading.[LNB] Getting stuck in: Wright-Phillips (right) impressed during City's FA Cup win over Reading[LNB] 'Getting 90 minutes under my belt against Reading is the longest I've played in a while,' he added. 'I'm just finding my feet again and trying to be as positive as possible.'[LNB]After receiving a standing ovation for his efforts at the weekend, Wright-Phillips was keen to than the City fans for their support and says it means a lot to know they are behind him.[LNB]'The fans are always fantastic towards me and they've been like that throughout my City career,' he said.
