Ban: Manchester City's chief communications' officer Vicky Kloss was twice barred from the tunnel at Meadow Lane[LNB]Manchester City are to lodge a formal complaint with Notts County as a sexism row marred their FA Cup tie. [LNB]City's chief communications' officer Vicky Kloss says she was twice banned from the tunnel area at Meadow Lane. [LNB]Kloss, a highly-respected media official, was furious when she was barred from the area immediately outside the visitors' dressing-room, where she was hoping to brief boss Roberto Mancini before the game. [LNB]A steward told her she could not enter because she was a woman, while her colleague, media relations officer Simon Heggie, was allowed in. [LNB]After the game when Kloss tried to set up an interview with Mancini for ITV, she claims the same happened again. This time, Heggie was also barred. [LNB]City will write to County today demanding an explanation. [LNB]Last night a City spokesman said: 'Vicky was told women were not allowed in the tunnel area, which impeded her from doing her job. Despite being warmly welcomed by the club, we will be writing to Notts County about this specific incident.'[LNB]But League One County strongly defended the allegations. A spokesman said: 'What happened had nothing whatsoever to do with her being a woman. We won't stand for any kind of sexism. This is club policy. If she has a complaint, we urge her to make it known to us and we will investigate.' [LNB] Notts County 1 Manchester City 1: ?201m of talent need late Dzeko strike to halt Ince's freebiesVieira: I'm a mentor to Balotelli and respect Ince but I won't be a managerKenny Dalglish: I'd go potty over a bad call - not because Sian's a woman Patrick Collins: Trite, arrogant and offensive... what a way to goAll the latest Manchester City news, features and opinion[LNB]  Explore more:People: Roberto Mancini
