Blackpool boss Tony Parkes fears that Stephen McPhee could be out for six months after suffering a knee injury in a reserve game. The striker, who has not made a first-team start all year due to various injuries, suffered anterior cruciate ligament damage in his right knee against Manchester City's second string on Wednesday. The extent of the injury is still unclear but he could require surgery that would keep him out for up to six months."It's a crying shame for Stephen and I just hope he makes a full recovery and gets back in action as soon as is possible," Parkes told the Blackpool Gazette."He has had a really frustrating year but he had been training well for quite a while and was involved with the first team again."It is a real shame for the lad and my heart goes out to him."[LNB]
