Sam happy with Roque exit

Sam Allardyce feels Roque Santa Cruz's summer switch to Manchester City represents 'really good business' for Blackburn Rovers. The Paraguay international was strongly linked with a move to Eastlands in the winter transfer window but a deal failed to materialise as Rovers held out for their asking price. Santa Cruz finally completed his transfer to City last week after Rovers accepted a reported fee of £18million. Allardyce is now planning to reinvest the funds from the deal as he plots for next season in the Premier League. He said in The Sun: "I thought it was really good business, the player has got what he wanted and we've got good value for that player. "You take the money and use it on someone who does want to play for Blackburn."
