Rovers wait on Nielsen injury

Tranmere boss Les Parry will assess Gunnar Nielsen's fitness before deciding whether to extend Peter Gulacsi's loan deal.[LNB] Gulacsi joined Rovers three weeks ago after Nielsen, on loan from Manchester City, sustained an injury while on international duty with the Faroe Islands.[LNB]The Hungarian goalkeeper's loan spell at Prenton Park from Liverpool ends after this weekend's home game with Brentford, and Parry told Tranmere Player: "I've already enquired with Liverpool about extending Peter's loan.[LNB]"Before I do that I've got to get a definitive answer from Manchester City with regard to how long Gunnar is going to be out.[LNB]"If he's close to coming back, we're contracted to keep Gunnar until Christmas so we'll be doing that and Peter will be going back."[LNB]Meanwhile, rookie midfielder Joss Labadie faces a lay-off of several weeks after sustaining ankle ligament damage.
