Tranmere Rovers have landed Shaleum Logan on a season-long loan after the defender signed a new contract at Manchester City. Logan has made three first-team appearances for City and has been rewarded with a one-year extension to keep him at the Premier League club until 2011. City boss Mark Hughes is keen for the 20-year-old to build up his experience and he will now spend the campaign in League One with Tranmere. "I'm delighted to be able to bring Shaleum to Tranmere for the season," Rovers boss John Barnes told the club's official website. "He is a talented young player who will improve our defence. "I'd like to thank Manchester City manager Mark Hughes for allowing Shaleum to join us on loan." Logan has previously spent spells on loan at Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Stockport, and made his sole Premier League appearance for City against Portsmouth in February
