Roque Santa Cruz heads for Lazio

Lazio appear to have beaten Fulham to the signing of Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz, with reports in Italy claiming the striker is set to be put through a medical in Rome on Monday.[LNB]Corriere dello Sport, a newspaper based in the Italian capital, says a deal has been struck that will see the Paraguay international join Lazio on a season-long loan with the right to buy next summer for £6.5million.
