Robinho wants to stay at Santos

Robinho feels his decision to return to Brazil has been justified and is hoping to earn a permanent switch to Santos from Manchester City.[LNB] The Samba star headed back to his roots in January, securing a loan move from City.[LNB]He joined Santos in order to find regular first-team football and give himself the best possible opportunity of making Brazil's World Cup squad.[LNB]Robinho has shone back in his homeland and has been included in Dunga's plans ahead of this summer's showpiece in South Africa.[LNB]A return to form and international recognition have convinced the talented playmaker that he made the right choice and he is now keen to remain with Santos for the foreseeable future.[LNB]"It was a great decision," Robinho said. [LNB]"What I wanted was to go to Brazil to prepare and be ready for the World Cup.[LNB]"I'm not sure what to expect of my future yet but I hope to stay with Santos."[LNB]Robinho feels he has been harshly treated during his two years at Eastlands, despite being unable to hit top gear.[LNB]He believes he has been denied the opportunity to settle into Premier League life and claims he is a better player than that seen in England.[LNB]"I didn't even play that bad, I just didn't get the run (in the side) that I wanted," he added.[LNB]"Football in England is about strength; it's difficult for a Brazilian player to adapt to that."
