Manchester City [LNB]will listen to offers for their Brazil striker Robinho this summer.[LNB]According to sources close to City's Arab owners in the Middle East, the Barclays Premier League club who last night denied they had sounded out Bayern Munich's Jurgen Klinsmann about becoming their next manager will cut their losses on England's best-paid player if they receive an acceptable offer.[LNB]Ironically, current City boss Mark Hughes has targeted Bayern's France forward Franck Ribery as someone he would like to sign and he also has an interest in Barcelona's Thierry Henry.[LNB] Parting of the way: Manchester City manager Mark Hughes (left) could see Robinho sold in the summer[LNB]It is understood that City's owners, the Abu Dhabi United Group, are aware of the fact that, despite occasional moments of brilliance, Robinho has not proved the consummate success they hoped when they bought him for £32.5million from Real Madrid on the last day of the August transfer window.[LNB]Robinho's away form has been poor and as revealed 10 days ago by Sportsmail he is becoming a negative influence on other members of Mark Hughes's squad along with his fellow Brazilian Elano.[LNB]The City manager is not actively trying to push Robinho out but is aware that the club are likely to receive offers in the summer as the 25-year-old has made it clear he is not happy at Eastlands.[LNB]It looked very likely at one point that Chelsea would make a move for him as he was understood to have been in regular contact with their coach Luiz Felipe Scolari.[LNB] Robinho has endured an indifferent time at Eastlands since his summer move[LNB] City would not have objected to a swap deal involving Chelsea [LNB]captain John Terry at the end of the season, but Scolari's recent sacking at Stamford Bridge has made that prospect more unlikely.[LNB]Robinho should play for City at West Ham[LNB]on Sunday and has put in two improved away performances at FC Copenhagen and Liverpool[LNB], and was brilliant in the home leg of the club's UEFA Cup tie against the Danish team on Thursday. [LNB]On the whole, though, his attitude and approach to life at City has deteriorated over the last couple of months, to the extent that he and Elano cast a shadow over much of what Hughes has been trying to do.[LNB]Understandably, the manager has played down the problem in public and last week at Copenhagen he even turned to the travelling City fans and implored them to give Robinho an ovation as he was substituted late in the game.[LNB] Hammers boss Zola warns: It's not all about Bellamy - City have ten other dangerous players[LNB]England expects: A decade on from the last all-English top-flight XI, Sportsmail presents a club-by-club guide to homegrown talent[LNB]West Ham v MAN CITY: De Jong back in contention after missing out on UEFA Cup victory[LNB]MANCHESTER CITY FC NEWS FROM ACROSS THE WEB[LNB]Klinsmann dismisses Manchester City link, but admits he's 'flattered'[LNB][LNB]But, privately, Hughes has been losing the battle for some time and new signing Craig Bellamy has already clashed with Robinho, who would have occasionally found himself out of the team for away matches had the City squad contained a viable alternative.[LNB]Hughes is keen to land Ribery from Bayern whatever happens to Robinho. [LNB]The 26-year-old is contracted to the Bundesliga club until the summer of 2011 and would cost in excess of £20m even in the current deflated market.[LNB] Bayern Munich forward Franck Ribery is on Hughes' radar[LNB]The German champions' prime concern is over Klinsmann, and rumours were rife on Friday that the manager, under attack from sections of the country's press, had been lined up for next season's Eastlands hot seat, where pressure is mounting on Hughes.[LNB]But City denied any interest, just as they denied Scolari has been sounded out.[LNB] [LNB]
