Robinho seeking Santos stay
Robinho hopes Manchester City can be persuaded to let him stay at Santos, with the forward proclaiming that he "belongs in Brazil".[LNB] The striker was allowed to join Santos on loan in January after a difficult start to the 2009/10 season with City.[LNB]He recaptured his best form back in his homeland but the loan spell with Santos is now at an end and it is unclear where his future lies.[LNB]Roberto Mancini stated earlier this week that he was prepared to take Robinho back to Eastlands, although he did admit that it would also depend on the player.[LNB]And it seems the 26-year-old is keen to stay in Brazil after telling Santos that he does not want to bid farewell to the club.[LNB]Robinho concedes there is interest from Europe as well but he does not expect a decision to be made until Santos have spoken with City.[LNB]"I hope this is not goodbye," he said after playing his final loan game for Santos. [LNB]"It's not easy to convince the English to agree a deal but I trust the leaders of Santos to be successful.[LNB]"I think I belong in Brazil more than the Premier League.[LNB]"My agents have received several offers from clubs in Europe but everything is on hold until Santos meet City."
