Robinho linked to Barca - report

Reports in Spain have claimed that Barcelona are preparing to complete a swoop that will see them land Robinho on loan from Manchester City with a view to a permanent deal.[LNB] Catalan television station TV3 state that an agreement could even be reached in the next 24 hours after the Blaugrana made their interest official, with talks to iron out the details said to be ongoing on at the moment.[LNB]Robinho has been quoted as saying that he would welcome a move back to the Spanish league and Pep Guardiola is a known fan of the Brazil international after he stated he would have liked to have signed him 12 months ago.[LNB]Reports in both England and Spain have suggested that the 25-year-old former Real Madrid man has a clause in his contract allowing him to leave if a team in the UEFA Champions League are keen to secure his services.[LNB]Talks about a possible move for Robinho are rumoured to have begun when City enquired about Samuel Eto'o and a deal for the Cameroon striker could be part of the whole package.[LNB]With Barcelona wanting Robinho to bolster their options on the left next term after Franck Ribery was put out of reach by Bayern Munich, the Eastlands side are keen on adding a new striker to their ranks.[LNB]
