Robinho happy to be at Manchester City for 'long time to come'

The Brazilian forward has endured a turbulent eight months at Eastlands since completing his deadline-day switch from the Bernabeu. Of course this is only my first year, and I try to get better and better every year. Hopefully in the future I will be even happier at this football club.[LNB]'Of course expectations are high over how the team will do, but my aim is to remain here for a long time to come.'[LNB]Robinho's relationship with Hughes has been uneasy at times this season, but the 25-year-old claims that the pair enjoy a healthy rapport.[LNB]'My relationship with the manager is very good. He is a very good manager,' Robinho said. 'He gives me total confidence, and he and the team help me to produce my best football for the club.[LNB]'That goal against West Brom has given me a lot more confidence to score more in the matches we have left.'[LNB]City midfielder Michael Johnson, 21, could return to first-team duty before the end of season after returning from a long-term groin injury in the reserve. Johnson, sidelined since September, played an hour of the second-string clash with Middlesbrough.[LNB]
