Robinho defends Manchester City form

The 25-year-old's form at City has dipped alarmingly in recent weeks, with his most recent sub-standard display coming against Sunderland last time out, a game which Mark Hughes' team narrowly won after Robinho had missed a penalty. [LNB]Robinho's displays, particularly away from Eastlands, have been in stark contrast to the form he showed for the Selecao in a friendly against Italy at the Emirates Stadium last month, when the former Real Madrid player capped a good display with an exquisitely taken goal in a 2-0 win for the South Americans.
