Robinho could be on his way back to Manchester City as Santos lose major sponsor

Robinho could be back at City[LNB]Robinho may be forced to return Manchester City from his loan spell at Santos because a sponsor that helps pay his wages has pulled the plug on a deal.[LNB]The Brazilian star joined Santos on a six-month loan deal in January after falling out of favour at Eastlands.[LNB]Robinho took a huge pay cut as Santos could not afford his £160,000-a-week wages.[LNB]Three of the club's major sponsors agreed to share the burden but one has pulled out while the other two, one is believed to be Volkswagen, have yet to be finalised.[LNB]The uncertainty means Santos will no longer be able to afford Robinho which means an imminent return to England.[LNB]Robinho's advisor Evandro Souza said: 'Santos have fulfilled their obligations up until this day, and so has Robinho .
