Roberto Mancini wants to settle Carlos Tevez dispute

Roberto Mancini heads in to a meeting with Carlos Tevez having already decided that the unsettled Manchester City captain will play against Everton in the Barclays Premier League on Monday night.[LNB]Tevez was absent from the second string City team that drew 1-1 at Juventus to ensure that they finished top of their group in the Europa League and has not played since handing in a transfer request at the start of last week.[LNB] In the spotlight: Carlos Tevez (right) jokes with team-mates during training on Wednesday[LNB]However, Mancini was adamant last night that Tevez will play on Monday and will tell the 26-year-old that his future must be settled once and for all over the coming few days.[LNB]The City manager said: 'When I arrive at the training ground, I will speak with Carlos.[LNB]'Will he play on Monday? Yes, why not?[LNB] Confident mood: Manchester City boss Mancini is confident his talks with Tevez will run smoothly[LNB]'He recovered and rested today, so he will play on Monday.
