Rebellion talk is rubbish - Mancini

Roberto Mancini has rubbished speculation Manchester City's stars want him to depart his Eastlands post and be replaced as manager.[LNB] It has been suggested that City's expensively-assembled squad had lost faith with the 45-year-old's ability and wanted a new man at the helm.[LNB]City went down to a surprise 2-1 Premier League defeat at Wolves at the weekend, a match in which Emmanuel Adebayor and Vincent Kompany came close to blows on the pitch following a heated argument.[LNB]Mancini's second-half decision to bring Pablo Zabaleta on in place of striker Adebayor when Jo was available was also believed to have caused discontent within the camp.[LNB]However, Mancini seemed unconcerned when the notion that City's stars were unhappy with his guidance was put to him on Monday in the wake of their shock loss.[LNB]"It's rubbish," he told Sky Sports News when quizzed about a possible players' revolt at City.[LNB]Former Inter Milan boss Mancini has been at the helm of the Eastlands club for less than a year after replacing Mark Hughes, who was sacked after failing to meet high expectations.
