Emmanuel Adebayor could be offered a temporary escape from his Manchester City nightmare by Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.[LNB]The Togolese striker's stock has plummeted this season after a series of public bust-ups with manager Roberto Mancini. He was featured for just a solitary minute since his last Premier League start way back in October. [LNB]Madrid boss Mourinho has long been an admirer of former Arsenal man Adebayor and has made no secret of his desire to add another forward to his squad, especially with star man Gonzalo Higuain set to miss the remainder of the season with a back injury. The impending arrival of Edin Dzeko is set to further limit his opportunities under Mancini.  [LNB] I want that one: Jose Mourinho is desperate to add another striker to his squad[LNB]Adebayor has long courted a move to one of Europe's stellar sides, with his public declarations of affection towards AC Milan and Real in 2008 the main reason behind his acrimonious split from Arsenal.[LNB]Spanish sport newspaper Marca made the claim, backed up by a supporter survey which suggested 66 per cent approved the stop-gap measure. [LNB]Despite their shortage in the final third, Madrid will be boosted tonight against Getafe by the return of Brazilian playmaker Kaka. The former world player of the year is yet to feature this season due to a knee problem. [LNB] Dzeko can help fire Manchester City to glory this season, insists title-chasing BoatengCongolese jailed for 24 years for deadly gun attack on Togo team in Angola Kidd: City have best Premier League squad but it's United's title to loseAll the latest Manchester City news, features and opinionCity bring in Brazil rookie Guilherme to link up with old Arsenal pals[LNB][LNB]  Explore more:People: Edin Dzeko, Karim Benzema, Kolo Toure, Roberto Mancini, Emmanuel Adebayor, Jose Mourinho Places: Madrid, Europe
