Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie has ruled out a fresh approach for manager Sven Goran Eriksson.[LNB]Following the sacking of ex-Pompey boss Tony Adams in February, Eriksson was linked with the vacant post on the South Coast.[LNB]But the Swede played down the rumours as he looked to concentrate on his role as Mexico head coach.[LNB]However, the former Manchester City and England boss was sacked as Mexico manager after the 3-1 defeat to Honduras in midweek.[LNB]With Eriksson now out of work, reports have suggested he could be set for a return to the Premier League, but Storrie has played down speculation suggesting he is destined for Fratton Park.[LNB]Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie said in The Sun: "We were interested in Sven but that was then, this is now.[LNB]"(Interim manager) Paul (Hart) and (assistant coach) Brian (Kidd) are making great progress."[LNB]
