Wanted: Greater Manchester Police are seeking discussions with this man

It has emerged that a police officer has been blinded in one eye after he was hit by a missile following the Manchester derby at Eastlands last month.

The 24-year-old officer was injured as he dealt with a disturbance outside the ground. He only has partial sight in the eye, and doctors do not know whether the damage will be permanent.

Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to as part of the inquiry.
