Ollie: City our biggest opposites

lackpool boss Ian Holloway has highlighted their game with Manchester City as a clash between "the biggest opposites" in the Premier League.[LNB] The newly-promoted Seasiders host the biggest game of their season so far at Bloomfield Road against a team that has spent £325million since Sheikh Mansour took over the club in August 2008.[LNB]Blackpool have spent less than £3million in the same period, with their wage bill for the entire club failing to match a week's salary for some of City's highest earners.[LNB]The targets of both clubs this season also differ dramatically, with Roberto Mancini's side in with a shout for the title, while Holloway's men battle against relegation.[LNB]"This is the match between the biggest opposites in the division - massive-spending City and us. You won't get two more opposite ends of the spectrum," Holloway told the Blackpool Gazette.[LNB]"We have one point out of six at home and I want to improve on that. If we have four out of nine after Sunday, where would we be in table then? It is scary to think about.[LNB]"At the moment, I am just concerned about players coming back injured from international duty and more fatigued because that is out of your hands. We have one or two knocks already, which will give opportunities to other people. [LNB]"But I have enough to worry about with City, especially when you see how they can counter-attack.[LNB]"Hopefully we will take it in our stride, and whatever happens the fans will be just as excited as they have been so far."[LNB]The Bristol-born boss could not see his side go into the game on any more of a high following their stunning win at Anfield against Liverpool.[LNB]However, Holloway warned his players that City were a different proposition, and could kill the game off in moments.[LNB]"I have worries because Chelsea (a 4-0 defeat) knocked the stuffing out of me," Holloway added. [LNB]"I didn't expect what happened in the first half there because I thought we would learn from our experiences at Arsenal (a 6-0 defeat).[LNB]"But Chelsea completely blew us away in that first half and that's what can happen at this level - the opposition can kill you at any moment.[LNB]"People can turn defence into attack in 10 seconds, so you look like you are in a good situation, then bang, you are one down. City are one of a number of teams that can hit you like that."
