[LNB]Andy Carroll has warned Manchester City he is ready to resume scoring form at Eastlands on Sunday.[LNB]The marauding No 9 got off to a galloping start in the Premiership scoring four goals in three games but he hasn't hit the net in his last three outings. [LNB]Carroll is happy with his goal scoring rate because he is already three up on this stage last season, when he finished with 19 goals in the Championship as Newcastle cruised to the division title.[LNB] Provider: Andy Carroll didn't manage to score against Stoke last weekend but he did win a penalty that Kevin Nolan converted[LNB]But even though the calls for England recognition that greeted his early season form have dissappated somewhat, the Geordie striker knows he will get chances with the likes of Hatem Ben Arfa, Wayne Routledge and Jonas Gutierrez in the team.[LNB]'The chances have been there, and I think I'll take the next one,' he said.[LNB]'There's always one guarantee as a striker. And that is there will always be chances in front of goal.[LNB]'The chances will come - we had a few against Stoke, but didn't put them away.[LNB] Hitman: Carroll is eager to return to the early season scoring form that led to talk of an England call up[LNB]'The chances will always be there with the players we've got andI've got to be confident of that.'[LNB]Carroll's failure to hit the net since Newcastle beat Wolves at Molineux in August isn't helped by the fact that Chris Hughton favours playing one man up front with midfield runners lending support rather than another striker.[LNB]But he turned provider against Stoke last weekend, winning a penalty that Kevin Nolan converted and her says that as long as he is in and around the penalty box he will be a danger. [LNB]'I'm disappointed I haven't scored in the last three games, but I think I've been playing well,' he said.[LNB]' I'm always going to be the one that's making or getting the chances.[LNB]'Getting a penalty was another one.' Newcastle's clash with Sunderland brought forward on police ordersNORTHERN EXPOSURE: Win at Chelsea, lose at home to Blackpool and Stoke - the wonderful back-to-front Tyneside world...Newcastle snap up French teenager Moyo in four year dealNEWCASTLE UNITED FC
