Nedum Onuoha to follow Victor Moses in pledging international future to Nigeria

International honours: Onuoha has represented England U21's on 21 occasions[LNB]Nedum Onuoha is set to follow Victor Moses in pledging his international future to Nigeria.[LNB]Sportsmail revealed how Wigan forward Moses' had decided to defect to the Super Eagles despite playing for England Under 21's.[LNB]And the Three Lions are now facing the prospect of losing another player tipped for senior honours in Onuoha - who has played 21 times for the Young Lions.[LNB]Nigeria coach Samson Siasia will meet with the Manchester City defender, who is on loan at Sunderland, in a bid to get the 24-year-old to pledge his international future to his side.[LNB]It is understood that Onuoha - who was born in Nigeria - is giving serious consideration to representing Nigeria and is leaning towards pledging his future to the African nation.[LNB]Super Eagles assistant coach Simon Kalik said: 'Onouha is a fantastic defender and very soon he and the chief coach will have a good meeting and we will start from there.[LNB]'But I am sure that he is proud to be a Nigerian and very soon he will signify his intention to join the team.'
