Mourinho eyes £8m move for City's brooding Brazilian Elano
Jose Mourinho is ready to reignite his interest in Manchester City midfielder Elano.
Inter Milan weighed up a move for him in January and have now been linked with an £8million summer move for the unsettled Brazil international.
The 27-year-old says he wants to stay at Eastlands and Mark Hughes also indicated he had a future at City, despite appearing less regularly in his team.
But Elano has been dispirited by the club's refusal to reopen contract talks. Hughes is reluctant to renegotiate with a player who still has two years to run on the four-year deal he signed when joining from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Former Chelsea boss Mourinho, who has won the Italian League in his first season with Inter, will use the uncertainty to launch a bid, according to The Sun.
