Mancini in support of Adebayor

Roberto Mancini feels Emmanuel Adebayor must try and forget the horror he experienced in Angola. Adebayor scored his first goal since the shocking day when three of Togo's backroom team, including their driver, were killed when gunmen opened fire on the team bus prior to the African Nations Cup. Mancini cannot even begin to understand how the £25million Manchester City striker must feel. But, after putting City on their way to a 2-0 win over crisis club Portsmouth, he knows the best way of dealing with the issue is to blank it out of his mind. "It was an incredible situation," said the City chief. "I hope and think he forgets about the situation. He just needs to think about himself and his family because he is very lucky."
