Mancini expects Italy return

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini admits he misses life in Italy and is sure he will return to work in his homeland in the future.[LNB] Mancini took charge at Eastlands last December after leaving his role as Inter Milan boss the previous year.[LNB]He stated just this week that he was in it for the long haul with City and committed to trying to help the club achieve success.[LNB]Mancini does not believe the pressure is greater in the Premier League but notices the differences to Serie A and wishes he could work more like he did in Italy. [LNB]Asked what he missed about Italy, Mancini told Gazzetta dello Sport: "Everything. The way of life, the habits. It would be hypocritical to say otherwise. [LNB]"I miss our lack of rigid attitudes and our ability to solve problems on the spur of the moment. [LNB]"Here in England, they are more regimented. We are facing a thousand difficulties and it's not easy, but it is great to work in such an important country. [LNB]"But it's not the same pressure as in Italy. Here you can take a few more risks when you make choices, but in the end you need to get the results, like anywhere else."[LNB]Mancini is convinced he will go back to Italy one day and confesses it has always been a dream to manage his national team.[LNB]He also believes Italian football will benefit from the fact that so many of their leading tacticians have spent time in England.[LNB]"I do not try to envisage it [when I will return to Italy]. Sooner or later it will happen and I would love to coach Italy one day. You cannot say no to the national team," he said.[LNB]"But Italy should be pleased that myself, [Carlo] Ancelotti, [Fabio] Capello and the rest are working in England because we are getting new experiences and will go back having improved ourselves."[LNB]Mancini will be expected to deliver trophies at City after being allowed to spend heavily in the transfer market, but he insists it will be more difficult for him than it was for Ancelotti, who guided Chelsea to the Premier League title in his first season in England.[LNB]"With him it has been different. He came to a team which was already well oiled," Mancini said. [LNB]"At City we are still building everything, from the mentality of the team and its environment to all the rest."
