Mancini admits interest in Krasic
Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has admitted he tried to sign Milos Krasic before the Serbia international decided to join Juventus.[LNB] Big-spending City were linked with Krasic in the summer prior to his move to Turin from CSKA Moscow.[LNB]Krasic will come up against City in their Europa League meeting on Thursday and Mancini is a big admirer of the 25-year-old, who scored a hat-trick in a 4-2 Serie A home win over Cagliari at the weekend.[LNB]The Italian claims he made overtures to sign Krasic while he was in charge of Inter Milan and also at Eastlands, but failed on both occasions.[LNB]"He's a player I have always followed, I tried to sign him when I was Inter coach and I tried again when I arrived at City," he said.
