Manchester City's Kelvin Etuhu back in court for assault trial

In the dock: Manchester City's Kelvin Etuhu [LNB]Manchester City striker Kelvin Etuhu is facing a possible jail term when he appears in court after kicking and punching a man in a street fight outside a casino. [LNB]Etuhu, 22, will be in the dock at Warrington Crown Court on Thursday after previously admitting assault occasioning actual bodily harm and affray, at an earlier court hearing. [LNB]He was caught on CCTV cameras kicking the victim three times on the ground after he floored him with a punch.[LNB] The fight broke out after two groups of clubgoers had earlier squared up in the Manchester 235 Casino in the early hours of February 28 last year. [LNB]Footage from city centre CCTV showed an incident outside the casino in which Etuhu's girlfriend was knocked to the floor as her partner became involved in a separate brawl. [LNB]The Nigerian-born player is a graduate of the Manchester City academy, making his first senior City appearance in September 2007 before being loaned out to Leicester towards the end of that season. [LNB]The younger brother of Fulham player Dickson Etuhu, he has also been on loan at Cardiff and Rochdale.
