Manchester City are to share some of their facilities with a university.
The University College of Football Business has announced that it is to open a third campus based at the Etihad Stadium and adjacent City Football Academy.
UCFB, which runs courses, including degrees, aimed at the business side of the football, general sport and leisure industries, already has bases at Wembley Stadium and Burnley's Turf Moor.
The new arrangement, which is also a collaboration with Manchester City Council, will see lectures and seminars delivered at the stadium and CFA and ensure that more of the club's facilities are utilised on non-matchdays.
Brendan Flood, chairman and co-founder of UCFB, said: "The UCFB Etihad Campus is a very exciting development for us and gives our students the opportunity to study right at the heart of the most progressive sporting facility in the world.
"We are also aware that locating our campus in the heart of this community will support the football club and Manchester City Council with their long-term legacy and social mobility goals as well as providing economic benefits for local people and local businesses."
This is the second major announcement by UCFB in a week having also entered into an exchange partnership with Real Madrid.
The establishment was opened just five years ago with 56 students in Burnley but there are now plans for 3,000 to be based in Manchester alone.
Professor Philip Wilson, provost and chief executive said: "This really is the jewel in the crown for us. This is truly a landmark moment for the development of UCFB that will provide us with highly advanced, world-leading facilities."
