Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor fails to show for training

By Mark Ogden[LNB]7:53AM BST 12 Jul 2011[LNB]Comments[LNB] The Togolese striker, who was left out of the senior City squad, who have flown to Los Angeles for a pre-season tour, had been due to take part in a practice session at the club's Carrington headquarters.[LNB]But he did not appear and is now facing the prospect of being docked two weeks' wages by the club, around £330,000.[LNB]Only a week ago, Adebayor suggested he was ready to bring a claim of constructive dismissal against City for freezing him out of first-team affairs. [LNB]The club are desperate to off-load the former Arsenal forward, along with several other fringe players who are not part of Roberto Mancini's plans, as they strive to comply with Uefa's Financial Fair Play regulations.[LNB]Related Articles
