Manchester City deny bid to sign Christian Eriksen

Manchester City have denied they made a ?20million bid to sign Ajax's young hot property Christian Eriksen, despite claims from the midfielder's agent. [LNB]Roberto Mancini was impressed with the Denmark international's performance against England during a friendly in February. [LNB]But the club moved quickly to dismiss claims 19-year-old attacking midfielder declined the offer to join the megastar cast at Eastlands.
