[LNB]Gareth Barry believes his Manchester City side should learn from local rivals Manchester United if they want to win the title in the future.[LNB]City are virutally out of contention in this season's race after failing to beat Fulham at Eastlands on Sunday.[LNB]And Barry said: 'If you're going to challenge for the title, you're going to have to win games like this at home.[LNB] Battle: Gareth Barry challenges Fulham's Andy Johnson on Sunday[LNB]'Once we got our goal, I thought that would kick start us and that we would go and get another one, but then they scored, that knocked us back and we found it difficult to break them down.[LNB]'The top teams over the years eventually break teams down, but that didn't look like happening for us. That's one thing we need to change.'[LNB]Despite their disappointment, City are still very much in the trophy hunt. Roberto Mancini's men face Dynamo Kiev in the Europa League next week, and before that they take on Aston Villa in an FA Cup fifth round tie on Wednesday night.[LNB]'It's a big game for us and we have the incentive of another home tie in the quarter-final.[LNB]'If we could get through these two games then we would be at Wembley.[LNB]'The cup competitions have been important to us all season, although fourth spot is our main target. We know the cup competitions are massive to this club because it has been so long since they lifted a trophy. The lads are concentrating on doing well in them.[LNB] On the ball: Barry (left) in action against Aris Saloniki last week[LNB]'We still have a lot of games left. We've got to be positive, there's no point getting down about it. The lads will stick together in the dressing room, work hard on the training pitch and try and get positive results.'[LNB]The game against Villa will be City's fifth in 18 days, but Barry said it is just part of modern football.[LNB]'You speak to any player and if you have a complete week of rest, you do feel better coming out at the weekend,' he said.[LNB]'But that's part of football now. We've got a big squad, although the injuries aren't helping us.[LNB]'We want to be involved in all these competitions and so you're going to get games every three days.[LNB]'It's going to be tough, but we have a few injured players coming back, which helps you at this stage of the season, and everyone is going to be needed.'[LNB] You're not so super, Mario!
