In a summer dominated by the drawn-out departure of Carlos Tévez and the whirlwind arrival of Sergio Aguero, it is easy to think of Manchester City as a one-man show. [LNB]This was a timely reminder, on the eve of the biggest season in the club's history, that Roberto Mancini's supporting cast isn't too bad at all. [LNB]Given the price tags which hang from the lapels and weigh down on the shoulders of both men, that is the least they should be able to offer. [LNB]Balotelli, that sneering, brooding bundle of trouble, cost £23 million, Dzeko, for so long toothless, inept, an even more princely £27 million. Both have made poor first impressions. [LNB]Both clearly have the quality to make sure those impressions do not last. Balotelli menaced from the first minute. [LNB]Related Articles
