// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Manchester City fans will be expecting nothing less than a comfortable home victory as they flock to Eastlands for the visit of Wolves.[LNB] The long-suffering Blues have real cause for optimism after City got an eagerly-anticipated campaign off to a flying start.[LNB]Mark Hughes' big-money signings brushed aside concerns over how quickly they would gel with a 2-0 win in their opening game at Blackburn last week.[LNB]And with a newly-promoted side representing their first opponents at home this season, City are hotly-tipped to maintain their winning start.[LNB]ChallengeAlthough Wolves have opened their account early with a midweek win at Wigan, Saturday's return to Lancashire is a whole new challenge for Mick McCarthy's men.[LNB]Only champions Manchester United claimed more home wins than City last season, and Hughes has since added almost £100million of talent to his squad.[LNB]The Blues are in buoyant mood, too, having followed up their opening-day victory with a 1-0 friendly win over Barcelona on Wednesday - arranged after City's league game with Everton was re-scheduled.[LNB]Admittedly, Barca fielded a young side, but Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were half-time substitutes for the European champions and Hughes was without Emmanuel Adebayor and Robinho.[LNB]City stars doubtfulAdebayor took just three minutes to announce his arrival at City with a clinical opener at Blackburn but was not risked at the Camp Nou having picked up a groin injury, while Robinho has an ankle problem.[LNB]Both are doubtful to face Wolves, so striker Carlos Tevez and winger Martin Petrov are ready to step into the starting line-up if they fail to prove their fitness.[LNB]Tevez played over an hour in Barcelona while Petrov staked his claim for a recall with a well-taken first-half strike, which proved to be the only goal of the game.[LNB]Otherwise Hughes is likely to stick with the side that won at Blackburn as left-back Wayne Bridge is expected to shrug off a hamstring problem.[LNB]Defender Kolo Toure and midfielder Gareth Barry slotted in effortlessly at Ewood Park and both will be keen to impress on their home debut.[LNB]Wolves pair backWolves lost 2-0 at home to West Ham on their return to the top-flight but bounced back to claim a 1-0 victory at Wigan on Tuesday.[LNB]Andy Keogh's early effort was enough to secure Wolves' first points of the season and they are boosted by the return of striker Kevin Doyle (groin) and central defender Christophe Berra (hamstring).[LNB]Both have missed the opening two games and are likely to start on the bench with McCarthy set to name an unchanged line-up following the Wigan win.[LNB]Striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake (hamstring) and right-back Kevin Foley (knee) are still missing, so David Edwards and Richard Stearman should keep their place after coming into the side in midweek.[LNB]Chris Iwelumo (foot) and Michael Kightly (foot and hip) remain long-term casualties.[LNB]Possible starting XIs:[LNB]Man City: Given, Richards, Toure, Dunne, Bridge, Wright-Phillips, Barry, Ireland, Bellamy, Robinho, Adebayor.[LNB]Wolves: Hennessey, Stearman, Craddock, Mancienne, Halford, Henry, Milijas, Jarvis, Edwards, Ward, Keogh.[LNB]
