Decent from Da Costa as he prevents the City man from sliding in for his hat-trick.[LNB]86 Miscue from Tomkins. He slices out for a throw when under no pressure. Sums up West Ham's night![LNB]85 Tevez leads a four-man counter. His pass towards Barry is sloppy though and West Ham run the ball clear. Tired legs maybe, but he should have done better.[LNB]84 Diamanti delivery right into the heart of the box. Da Costa then takes the ball off the head of Cole, who had a free header from six yards. Lescott was the man all at sea and he continues to look far from a big-money centre-half at the moment.[LNB]84 City try to pick their way through, but Tomkins slams the door in their face. Santa Cruz is running around a lot and looks very keen, yet to touch the ball though![LNB]83 Offside against Cole. He looks bemused but was at least a yard off. Again he didn't need to be as he was standing right next to the last man.[LNB]82 Diamanti fires high, wide and handsome with options right and left.[LNB]82 Tevez shapes to shoot but spends too long lining up a shot and Hines nips in. The Argentine makes no effort to get the ball back, but I think the City fans will let him off![LNB]81 Wright-Phillps makes way for Santa Cruz.[LNB]80 Dangerous from West Ham as they try to play their way out from the back. Tevez is lurking, but can't quite get in a tackle.[LNB]79 De Jong finally gets in a shot from a long way out and fails to trouble Green who is right behind it. Bellamy was down clutching his face and is forced to go off for treatment, which he doesn't need and he gives the ref a mouthful.[LNB]79 Bellamy's delivery is seen out. City, though, remain on the front foot and keep everybody forward.[LNB]78 Petrov lovely touch to Bellamy, who lays off to Barry. He looks to dip a volley over Green's head, but the Hammers keeper does well to tip over the top.[LNB]77 Bellamy cuts inside off his flank, much like he did against United, but fires over the bar. Difficult to see how Hughes is going to keep all of his attacking talen happy when they are all available.[LNB]76 City look capable of strolling to three points here. They are able to move through the gears whenever they please and have looked very impressive tonight.[LNB]75 Hines pulled up for handball, or perhaps a trip, or perhaps a push. Either way he makes sure he is penalised an Barry bites the dust.[LNB]74 Tomkins meets Noble's delivery. The ball strikes him on the side of the head, though, and goes across goal rather than towards it. Good chance goes begging.[LNB]73 Diamanti whips a dangerous free-kick towards the back post. Toure takes no chances and knocks behind.[LNB]72 Can the fresh legs inspire the Hammers. They need something to happen, and soon.[LNB]71 Jimenez and Kovac make way for Hines and Stanislas.[LNB]70 Bright from Wright-Phillips. He loses the ball but chases back and gets in a challenge which sees the ball safely back to Given.[LNB]69 Not happening for West Ham at the moment. The ball is bouncing off them rather than sticking and they are not helping their own cause.[LNB]68 The delivery comes back to Diamanti from the corner. He lashes goalwards and Given is forced to tip a stinging effort over the top. The Hammers midfielder then concedes a free-kick for bundling over De Jong.[LNB]67 Diamanti almost finds the bottom corner, as his low effort flicks off Lescott and just past the post.[LNB]66 Barry is first to Petrov's delivery, but the ball cannons off his shoulder rather than his head and behind for a goal kick.[LNB]65 Comfortable save for Given as he prevents Noble from adding a second for the Hammers. City break the other end but a heavy touch from Wright-Phillips sees them forced to settle for a corner.[LNB]64 Movement on the City bench as Santa Cruz begins to warm up. I imagine we will be seeing him make his Blues bow pretty soon.[LNB]63 Brilliant from City. Tevez and Wright-Phillips combine to provide an opportunity for Bellamy. He volleys goalwards from 12 yards, but fires high over the top. The Welshman deserves a goal.[LNB]62 West Ham look beaten. Zola also looks very glum in the dugout. This result leaves the Hammers in trouble towards the wrong end of the table, how can they turn things around?[LNB]61 GOAL CITY - TEVZ. Bellamy delivers to the back post where Tevez is left unmarked. He places a header back across Green and into the far corner. Should be game over.[LNB]61 Foy has a word with Faubert after he clatters into Barry. Another promising free-kick to City, which Bellamy stands over.[LNB]60 Petrov is stil the star of the show. He is pinging the ball around and looks full of confidence. City fans must be delighted to have him back in this sort of form.[LNB]59 Bridge is shown a yellow card for a reckless challenge on Kovac.[LNB]58 Both sides take it in turns to squander possession and then fly into tackles.[LNB]57 Lescott tumbles in the box. Chris Foy waves away the protests. Bellamy's delivery was a bit high and the City man was hoping more than expecting.[LNB]56 Bellamy continues to be a bright spark for City. He pops up everywhere. This time he wins a corner after skipping past Faubert with ease.[LNB]55 Diamanti the first man into the book for kicking the ball away.[LNB]54 Bellamy leads the counter and wins a corner off Da Costa. The ball hit his arm, but there was no intent. Petrov's corner is nodded away by Cole. Jimenez looks to counter, but he is unable to beat the rock solid Toure.[LNB]53 Given forced into evasive action after a sloppy back pass from Bridge. City then struggle to break out of their own half, but just about manage to keep the Hammers out.[LNB]52 A long Diamanti delivery has City troubled for a moment. Toure and Given both fail to clear. Noble skips past a couple of tackles, but then sees his shot blocked.[LNB]51 West Ham are huffing and puffing, but can't find a way through at the moment. City are, at times, trying to be too elaborate and need to avoid getting complacent.[LNB]50 Zabaleta deflects a Kovac cross behind. Noble's delivery evades everyone and bobbles in front of goal. No-one on hand to get a telling touch.[LNB]49 Cole is unable to get his head to a floated free-kick and City clear their lines. How long before the inevitable changes? West Ham certainly need to mix things up.[LNB]48 Diamanti's delivery is woeful. He gets a second chance, and again fails to beat the first man. Very poor.[LNB]48 Faubert wins a corner as De Jong's clearnace goes wrong.[LNB]47 The debate regarding the West Ham goal that never was rumbles on. The view appears to be that Cole just outmuscled Lescott and the Hammers should be level. I imagine City supporters don't share that view![LNB] Da Costa is fortunate to get away with a trip on Wright-Phillips. The City winger appeared to be away and closing in on goal.[LNB] City get the second period underway.[LNB] Doug Cook hopes to see Santa Cruz at some point, while Gene Rupp wants to see more from Barry.[LNB] The players are back and we are set for the off.[LNB] Lee Emerson feels City will hold on, while Tony Going feels West Ham were robbed regarding Parker's disallowed effort.[LNB] You can also bet in-play at skybet.com. City are now 1/8 to take the spoils, with West Ham at 20/1. You can get 2-2 at 7/1.[LNB] Remember you can get in touch and air your views by contacting me direct at Chris.Burton@bskyb.com.[LNB] Man City 2 West Ham 1. The hosts in front at the interval and deserve their lead. But at 2-1 the Hammers are far from out of this yet.[LNB]45+3 Green comes and gets a touch to the delivery and just about sees it away from danger.[LNB]45+2 Another corner to City. Petrov takes from the right. His delivery finds Tevez at the back post, somehow. He has too many bodies between him and the goal and Ilunga concedes another set-piece.[LNB]45+1 City work the ball forwards and backwards and from right to left. They have the Hammers chasing shadows and look destined to be in front at the break.[LNB] Two minutes of stoppage time to be played.[LNB]45 Bellamy sneaks in behind, but is adjudged to have strayed offside. Just about the right call, but it was very tight.[LNB]44 Another party piece from Petriv. Wright-Phillips picks him out with a delightful ball and the Bulgarian strikes a firm volley into Green's chest. There was no way he was going to take a touch despite having space in front of him.[LNB]43 West Ham are leaving too much room between Cole and his support. He is too isolated and cannot be expected to do much with some of the service which is coming his way.[LNB]42 City look happy to bide their time again and wait for openings to appear. On this occasion space opens up for Zabaleta down the right. He fires over a great cross and Bellamy's bullet header forces Green into a smart stop.[LNB]41 Petrov and Bridge combine down the left, but the latter drills a poor cross straight into Faubert. At the other end Parker puts the ball in the net, but Cole has already been pulled up for a foul on Lescott.[LNB]40 Lescott rises highest to meet Bellamy's delivery. He makes a good connection but his direction is off and his header drifts past the post.[LNB]39 Green comes to the rescue for West Ham. Tevez twists and turns past Da Costa and ends up in on goal. His effort is not the best though and the sprawling Green is able to parry behind.[LNB]38 Clever defending by Ilunga. Wright-Phillip's looks to beat him for pace, but the Hammers man just steps across his run and earns a free-kick.[LNB]37 Petrov back to his feet and looks set to continue. Hughes is out on the sidelines waving his hands around. Not sure what he is so frustrated about, his side are doing alright at the moment.[LNB]36 Final ball letting West Ham down. Meanwhile, Petrov has gone down. He appears to have knocked knees with Faubert. Painful but shouldn't be enough to force him off.[LNB]35 Petrov tries to be too clever with a flicked pass towards Bridge. He looks to be in the mood and with Robinho injured, why not?[LNB]34 Can the Hammers respond for a second time? They were the better side immediately before conceding to Petrov. I fancy we will get more goals, but which way will they go?[LNB]33 Smart play from Green. Bellamy chases a long ball and has the legs to out pace the Hammers defence. Green, though, is quickly off his line and beats the City man to the ball.[LNB]32 GOAL CITY - PETROV. Petrov swings the ball low around the wall. Green is left wrong-footed and the ball finds the bottom corner. A welcome goal from a man who has seen his time with City blighted by injury.[LNB]31 Petrov's delivery is met powerfully by Cole. West Ham fail to win the second ball and Jimenez concedes a free-kick right on the edge of the box. What can City make of this?[LNB]30 Illunga is forced to concede a corner as Zabaleta breaks into the box.[LNB]30 Frustration for all concerned as Cole delays a free-kick and then Toure takes it from the wrong place - as if it matters![LNB]29 Scrambled save from Given to deny Cole. He meets a swinging cross ahead of Torue and his header would have nestled in the corner were it not for the City keeper. What a turn around in this contest![LNB]28 Tevez drops very deep to find the ball. He lays a pass into Wright-Phillips, who is clattered from behind by Tomkins. Referee gives nothing.[LNB]27 West Ham now look full of confidence. They are knocking the ball around with ease and are keeping City at arm's length.[LNB]26 Wasteful from Illunga. He sends a looping pass over the top of the City defence. Cole stands no chance of reaching it and Given is able to sweep up.[LNB]25 Petrov throws over a long cross from the left. It drifts out of play though and the danger subsides. City have taken their foot off the gas in the last 10 minutes and need to pick up the pace again.[LNB]24 GOAL WEST HAM - COLE. Scrappy effort, but we are level. City fail to clear Diamanti's free-kick. Kovac strikes goalwards from the penalty spot and his drive is flicked home off Cole's heel. They barely deserve it but the Hammers have found a leveller.[LNB]23 Promising free-kick to the Hammers after Noble is felled. They get the big men forward, but can they pick one out?[LNB]22 Diamnati goes down in a heap under a challenge from De Jong. The Dutchman does not mess about and did hit the Hammers star quite hard. He is alright to continue though.[LNB]21 Ilunga makes inroads down the left, but his attempted path across the edge of the City boss is poor and only finds a blue shirt.[LNB]20 The difference at the moment is that City have too workaholics in Tevez and Bellamy up top, prepared to chase anything, and West Ham look lethargic in comparison. They need a strong challenge or a good opportunity to shake them into life.[LNB]19 City seem to have so much space everytime they get the ball. They are picking holes in West Ham at will and it could be a long night for Zola's men if this continues.[LNB]18 Wild effort from Cole. He was faced with a tight angle, but he gets nowhere near the target.[LNB]17 Wright-Phillips does brilliantly to reach the by-line. He then recycles the ball and Petrov eventually lashes a drilled effort into the midrift of Green.[LNB]16 Noble tries his luck from distance. Noble latches onto a loose ball and needs no second invitation. His drive takes a slight deflection but is comfortably dealt with by Given.[LNB]15 Another great chance for Tevez goes begging. West Ham fail to clear a scuffed cross from Petrov. Tevez puts his foot through the ball from 10 yards, but gets underneath it and sends it high into the stands.[LNB]14 City are now able to bide their time in possession and wait for gaps to open up.[LNB]14 Faubert is now coming in for abuse from the stands. His actions were ridiculous and he can have no complaints.[LNB]13 Faubert and Bellamy exchange pleasantries. The Frenchman goes to ground like he has been shot. Bellamy makes a comment and he bounces back to his feet. Petty.[LNB]12 Tevez brushes through a tame challenge and moves to the edge of the area. He feeds Wright-Phillips, but the winger is unable to squeeze over a cross.[LNB]11 Ambitious effort from Diamanti. At least he is having a go, but his shot from fully 30 yards sails harmlessly wide.[LNB]10 Jimenez squanders possession far too easily. The capital club are yet to threaten Given's goal as yet. They look nervous and have been all over the place at the back.[LNB]9 Bellamy and Petrov work space well. The low cross reaches Tevez, who turns and prods inches over the top. So close to a second.[LNB]8 Wright-Phillips is drifting inside early on and not being picked up. Petrov, meanwhile, has looked very lively down his flank. On this occasion he wins another corner.[LNB]7 Tevez causes problems again. Great defending though by Parker as he tracks the striker all the way and gets in a telling tackle.[LNB]7 Jimenez looks to have won a corner off Toure. Somehow the decision goes the way of City. Might not be West Ham's night![LNB]6 Bridge lets fly from 25 yards, with defenders backing off. His effort fails to trouble Green but the Hammers look rattled.[LNB]5 GOAL CITY - TEVEZ. Petrov breaks into space down the left and squares for Tevez to tap into an empty net. Poor defending from the Hammers. Tevez apologises to the away fans. Nice touch.[LNB]4 First touch for Tevez. He appears to control the ball with his arm, but nothing doing from Chris Foy. Bridge is then able to win a corner off Faubert. For the record, Bellamy is being booed pretty loudly by the away support. Cole nods the corner to safety.[LNB]3 Poor from Wright-Phillips. He is looking right along the line, but still manages to get flagged for offside. Had he waited a second he would have been in on goal.[LNB]2 Bellamy and Faubert meet for the first time. It is common knowledge that they are not the best of friends, so expect fireworks![LNB]1 Patient from the Hammers early on as they try and get everyone a touch. City's only sniff of the ball sees Bridge launch the ball long towards nobody.[LNB] West Ham get us up and running.[LNB] Steve Gunning in the US, but Essex through and through, is going 2-1 to the Hammers. Tom Ayling agrees, but Michael Crombie sees the hosts running riot. We are about to find out who is right![LNB] The teams are out and we are almost ready for the off. Decent turn out tonight and it should be a lively atmosphere under the lights.[LNB] Couple more comments before kick-off. Johnnie Wong tips 2-2 and has warned us to look out for Diamanti. Meanwhile, Scott Mitchell insists City are nothing to be afraid of and is backing the Hammers to prevail. Nigel Healy is going 4-0 to City and Chris Young goes 3-0 to the Blues.[LNB] Less than 10 minutes until kick-off. I have a good feeling about tonight. Both sides like to get forward so I'm optimistic that we are going to see a few goals. I'm not brace enough to offer a prediction, but I think it will be close. That's all you're getting out of me. I'm going to play my cards very close to my chest![LNB] Carl Southall is another going 3-1 to the hosts. He is predicting an entertaining contest, but is hoping Lescott starts to justify his hefty price tag after making a shaky start to life at Eastlands.[LNB] Aron Taylor is going 2-1 to the Hammers, with Cole and Jimenez getting the goals. He thinks Tevez will get City's reply, and insists the Argentine remains a legend in the eyes of the Upton Park faithful.[LNB] Lee from New York is first to get in touch. He is a United fan, but is going for a 3-1 home win. He feels Bellamy will be the star of the show, calling him a 'great player'. He has been in fine form and will want to put in a good show against his former employers.[LNB] Tonight's referee is Chris Foy.[LNB] No Stephen Ireland for City as he has failed to shake off an illnees, so Martin Petrov comes into Mark Hughes' starting XI. Carlton Cole returns for West Ham, but Matthew Upson is still nursing a calf problem.[LNB]West Ham: Green, Faubert, Da Costa, Tomkins, Ilunga, Diamanti, Kovac, Parker, Noble, Jimenez, Cole. Subs: Kurucz, Spector, Nouble, Payne, Hines, N'Gala, Stanislas.[LNB]Man City team: Given, Zabaleta, Toure, Lescott, Bridge, Wright-Phillips, De Jong, Barry, Petrov, Tevez, Bellamy. Subs: Taylor, Richards, Johnson, Santa Cruz, Garrido, Sylvinho, Weiss.[LNB] You can also bet in-play at skybet.com. City start as 2/5 favourites, with West Ham at 13/2. The draw is available at 10/3. You can get Carlos Tevez and Craig Bellamy at 9/2 to open the scoring against their former club.[LNB] How do you see the game going? Can City get back to winning ways or will West Ham spoil the party. Who will be the men to watch - Tevez, Bellamy, Noble, Cole? Let me know your thoughts.[LNB] You can air your thoughts on the game, or the club's in general, by contacting me direct at Chris.Burton@bskyb.com.[LNB] City will be looking to bounce back from their derby disappointment last weekend, while the Hammers will be hoping to climb out of the bottom three.[LNB]Welcome to Eastlands for tonight's Premier League encounter between Manchester City and West Ham.[LNB]
