Renewed bid: Manchester City Roque Santa Cruz could be heading to Italy in January transfer window[LNB]Lazio are considering making another attempt sign Manchester City's out of favour Roque Santa Cruz in January after a move for the Paraguay striker broke down on deadline day.[LNB]The Italians were looking to take Santa Cruz on loan from City for the rest of the season with a further £5million payment if the switch suited all parties next summer.[LNB]But City, who paid Blackburn £17.5m for the 29-year-old last June, wanted more and the deal broke down.[LNB]However Lazio president Claudio Lotito has not ruled out making another approach for the forward in the next transfer window in January despite the fact they already have four strikers.[LNB] Lotito said: 'It's a disappointment. But we decided to take time and wait for the market in January to consider whether he will be a necessary inclusion, since in that role we already have Mauro Zarate, Sergio Floccari, Pasquale Foggia and Tommaso Rocchi.[LNB]'Hernanes also can also play in attack, not to mention Libor Kozak . So, we'll look at the market again in the winter.'[LNB] We're right behind you, Fabio!
