Vincent Kompany says Manchester City are where they should be following their victory over Swansea. City suffered a huge blow to their Champions League campaign after their 3-1 defeat to Ajax on Wednesday which saw them fall to the bottom of their group. But the Manchester City captain insists Roberto Mancini's men, who sit second, got what they needed from Saturday's game after securing a fourth consecutive Premier League win. "We won the game and we move on now. We are doing all right in the league," Kompany told City TV. "The most important thing here would always have been the result, certainly after Wednesday. We got the result. "I don't think it will be one of the games we will remember forever but it does put us in the position where it is comfortable enough for us to go into the West Ham game. "You couldn't do much more than this week. It was about winning and we did that. "Swansea have always been a good team. It was never going to be an easy game and I think, for us, it was good to keep the clean sheet and create chances. "The most important thing is we are now on track for the next game."
