Kompany - No complaints

Vincent Kompany says Manchester City can have no complaints at their Uefa Cup exit after a poor first leg in Hamburg.[LNB] City needed to put in a rousing display at Eastlands on Thursday after being put to the sword 3-1 in the first leg.[LNB]Mark Hughes' side defied their poor form by turning in a whole-hearted performance in the return leg, but fell just short at 2-1 despite a frantic finale.[LNB]DisappointedKompany insists City's players are still disappointed not to have progressed to the semis, despite their vastly-improved display on home soil.[LNB]"Everyone realised we had a chance to go through," he told Sky Sports News.[LNB]"Even though we put in a good performance we're so disappointed after creating so many chances. It was a big effort.[LNB]"I guess we should only look at ourselves as it's a two-legged challenge and we didn't do what we needed to do in Hamburg." [LNB]
