Vincent Kompany feels Manchester City's victory over Blackpool has underlined their title credentials.[LNB] The Blues were pushed hard by the plucky Seasiders on Sunday, with Roberto Mancini's men far from their best during a 3-2 win at Bloomfield Road.[LNB]Blackpool were able to frustrate free-spending City for long spells, while dominating substantial periods of the game themselves.[LNB]City's class shone through in the end, though, with talismanic skipper Carlos Tevez bagging a brace and David Silva adding a spectacular solo effort to see them to three points.[LNB]Title challenges are built on such results, with the ability to grind out wins when not at your best the mark of potential champions.[LNB]"Offensively it was hard for us at times, but you can see that Carlos just needs a moment to make all the difference," Kompany told City's official website.[LNB]"But he helps everyone, and although our performance was not bad, Blackpool played well. They were at home, so these are three very, very good points away from home.[LNB]"These are the sorts of places where you have to come and win. [LNB]"United have lost points at home, Arsenal did a while ago so you cannot underestimate any other side in this league and that's why we have to be really happy with the three points at Blackpool.[LNB]"We respected Blackpool before the game and that's why it's a good win.[LNB]"The way it is going now, there's no reason why we should rule ourselves out, and we are two points behind Chelsea, three clear of the rest so we'll see.[LNB]"The game against Arsenal (on Sunday) is definitely a benchmark game. The team, fans and myself, we're all looking forward to that one."
