Kolo Touré says Patrick Vieira will bring Manchester City success
Vieira, 33, has played twice for the club since his arrival from Inter Milan on a free transfer last month but, having overcome the calf injury that delayed his debut for almost a month, he is expected to line up against Stoke City in Saturday's's FA Cup fifth-round tie at Eastlands. Having failed to win a trophy with Arsenal since the 2005 FA Cup, Touré acknowledges that his determination to claim silverware is as strong as City's, whose trophy drought stands at 34 years. [LNB]Touré said: "We know we have to win a trophy because the first will be crucial for us. At Arsenal, at the start of every season, the talk was the same we have to win a trophy. It is the same here and we need to believe we can win a trophy. [LNB]"It was really, really difficult to take when we lost to Manchester United in the Carling Cup semi-final, but now the FA Cup and the Premier League are massive to us. [LNB]"The FA Cup is still a massive trophy and, when you win it, you have to go through some hard games. Arsenal, Liverpool and United are not out because they wanted to be out. They are out because they fought teams who played really hard." [LNB]
