General director Giuseppe Marotta has denied reports Juventus have started negotiations to sign unsettled Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.[LNB] The Argentina international looks set to leave City in January after allegedly refusing to appear as a substitute against Bayern Munich last month.[LNB]Tevez has been linked in recent months with a move to Serie A, with Juve and Inter Milan among the clubs reportedly keen to acquire the 27-year-old's services, but Marotta on Wednesday played down any link with his club.[LNB]"It's normal to talk about players when it comes to Juventus," said Marotta to Gazzetta dello Sport. "But we have not started negotiations to sign Tevez.[LNB]"We have a squad that meets our needs and we will evaluate week by week if we are lacking something.[LNB]"We are not the ones to discover Tevez.[LNB]"He is a great player and we are a great club so it's normal that there is a link, but to say that we are negotiating is a different matter."[LNB]Tevez is under contract with City until June 2014.
