Juventus are hoping to beat Manchester City to the signing of Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko after cooling their interest in Milos Krasic.[LNB] Dzeko is looking to leave Wolfsburg over the summer in order to join a bigger club and has attracted interest from several leading European teams.[LNB]He was previously wanted by AC Milan, while Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has expressed a wish to bring the Bosnian to the Premier League.[LNB]Italian giants Juventus are also keen on the prolific frontman and are now pursuing a deal for Dzeko in preference to a bid for CSKA Moscow winger Krasic.[LNB]"Forced to choose between Krasic and Dzeko due to the limits on non-EU players, we'll focus on the striker," Juve general manager Giuseppe Marotta told Tuttosport.[LNB]"But it's a difficult negotiation because the Germans don't give up easily and their demands are very high.[LNB]"We count on the will of player."[LNB]Dzeko has again outlined his determination to move on before the start of the new season and hopes Wolfsburg will be amenable to his request.[LNB]He told Kicker: "I want to clarify that it is not a matter of money, but of ambition. I feel I have to take a leap in quality and land in a big club.[LNB]"It is an important moment of my career and I also explained that to the leaders of Wolfsburg.[LNB]"With them I have a wonderful relationship and I am sure they will fulfil my desire."
