Juventus are ready to offer David Trezeguet to Manchester City in exchange for Elano, according to reports in Italy. Striker Trezeguet is expected to leave the Stadio Olimpico this summer, which would bring to an end nine years with the Serie A side, and he has been linked with domestic rivals Roma. Elano, meanwhile, has admitted that he could leave the City of Manchester Stadium in the close season after falling down manager Mark Hughes' pecking order. It is understood that Juve could be considering contacting City with a view to swapping Frenchman Trezeguet for Brazil playmaker Elano. Trezeguet expects discussions regarding his future after the summer break, telling calciomercato.com: "At the moment, I am only thinking about the holidays. However, in a few days I will return to Europe. "As for the rest, we will see later on. Everything will be discussed in due course. We are dealing with a very important situation because I have been in Turin for nine years. "With regard to me, I know I will present myself for a meeting with Juventus on 3rd July." Trezeguet's agent, Antonio Caliendo, has met with Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco to confirm interest from City, Roma and Spanish outfit Villarreal. But, contrary to speculation, Secco is said to be unwilling to sell the forward, who made 71 appearances for France before announcing his international retirement last July. "I have mentioned three clubs (City, Roma and Villarreal)," Caliendo told L'Equipe when asked about a meeting with Secco. "However, Secco said Trezeguet is not for sale and that he is not on the market."
