Jol: Hamburg hungry for treble joy

Martin Jol is confident his red-hot Hamburg troops can continue their fine form at Stuttgart on Sunday as their treble bid gains momentum. The northerners climbed to second place in the Bundesliga standings with a 1-0 win over Hoffenheim last weekend before hammering Manchester City 3-1 in the first leg of their UEFA Cup quarter-final on Thursday.Jol's troops are the only German team with a chance of winning the treble and the former Tottenham manager is in upbeat mood over their prospects."It is mid-April and we are still in all three competitions," said the Dutchman."The people's euphoria in Hamburg is huge. I feel that the players are eager to accomplish something and they can certainly get it done."Yet Jol is wary of fifth-placed Stuttgart, who have lost just once under Markus Babbel."They are among the teams that are still competing for the title," Jol said."The distance is not too big. A lot of things will happen before the end of the season. Sunday will be a tough match."Babbel holds a similar view to his opposite number."It will be very difficult, but we are in good shape after our victories over Bochum and Hertha Berlin," he stated."It is a similar situation to before the Berlin match (2-0 win for Stuttgart on March 21). They also came here with a lot of self-confidence but we defeated them."We must not budge one inch and defend the fifth spot no matter how strong the opponent is."Yildiray Basturk (ankle), Cacau (suspended) and Samuel Khedira (meniscus) are missing for the hosts. The visitors will be without Alex Silva (unfit), Thimothee Atouba (Achilles), Bastian Reinhardt (foot), David Jarolim (suspended), Guy Demel (leg), Romeo Castelen and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (both knee surgery).[LNB]
