Jerome Boateng begging Manchester City to let him join Bayern Munich
Share Let me go: City defender Jerome Boateng[LNB]Jerome Boateng is pleading with Manchester City to let him leave after agreeing terms with Bayern Munich.[LNB]Boateng arrived from Hamburg last summer and signed a contract with City until 2015 but the defender is desperate to return home.[LNB]He has failed to nail down a starting role in the centre of the defence and has repeatedly stated his intention to leave.[LNB]He said: 'It is true that I have agreed with Bayern on a four-year deal. Now it is up to Manchester to make it work.[LNB]'My dream is to have a starting spot within a year, hopefully at Bayern, and then I want to win the European championship (with Germany).'[LNB]The 22-year-old feels a move to the German giants will benefit his country in Ukraine and Poland next summer.[LNB]He added: 'It is about the position.
