Italians fight over Aleksandar Kolarov

12 June 2012 13:27
Juventus and Inter Milan are fighting over the signature of Manchester City full-back Aleksandar Kolarov.

Since the arrival of Gael Clichy from Arsenal, the Serbian has struggled to secure a regular first-team place. Kolarov started only nine Premier league games last season and is keen to move back to Italy.

Kolarov enjoyed three successful years at Lazio in the Serie A and Juventus boss Antonio Conte believes he can play a big role next year for the Italian champions.

Juventus are keen to secure Kolarov on a season long loan, but it's believed City are looking for a permanent deal so they can recoup some of the £18m they splashed out back in 2010.

Juventus will be hurried into a decision as he is also attracting interest from Inter Milan who could make a move for the Serbian in the next few weeks.
