Carlos Tevez's agent Kia Joorabchian has revealed that the biggest teams in Italy are jostling for position in the race to sign the Manchester City rebel.
Joorabchian met with AC Milan during the week and then revealed that negotiations went smoothly.
"It was a constructive dialogue which left a good feeling," Iranian-born Joorabchian told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Manchester City authorised the meeting with Milan officials.
"Since the summer there have been three offers: Corinthians, Inter Milan and another Italian team."
Joorabchian said City had turned down Inter's summer offer and although he did not confirm reports the third Italian team is Juve, when asked directly he gave a "knowing smile" according to the newspaper.
City had agreed a deal with Corinthians in the summer but the Brazilians pulled out at the last minute because time had run out in their transfer window.
But Joorabchian said the likeliest destination for his client is now Milan.
That may in part be due to the fact the Italian champions have lost Italy striker Antonio Cassano, who has had a heart operation, for several months and even possibly until the end of the season.
"The best solution for (Tevez) is Milan, it's the first choice, he wants to wear the red and black shirt," added Joorabchian.
"Wherever Tevez has gone, they've won. He did it with Boca Juniors, Corinthians, (Manchester) United and also with City he achieved professional objectives (qualifying for the Champions League and winning the FA Cup).
"Milan are a team who win so we're going ahead with that road."
Speaking about Tevez's City divorce, Joorabchian insisted it's a case of a clash of personalities with coach Roberto Mancini rather than a problem with the club.
And he claimed Tevez's astronomic wages should not be a problem for Milan.
"The only problem is with Mancini, not with the club.
"Carlos has cleared things up with the club, the only thing that happened was a disciplinary measure of an economic nature.
"But obviously City want the situation to be resolved.
"I don't think there should be a problem (regarding his salary) given that all great players have big salaries."
And the agent insists Tevez would have no problem fitting in with Milan's array of stars: Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robinho and Pato.
"Carlos wouldn't fear the competition at Milan because it's only a pleasure and stimulating to play with the likes of Ibra, Pato and Robinho."
