Manchester City playmaker Stephen Ireland has demanded that some of his team-mates stop 'hiding' in matches.[LNB] City suffered a disappointing 3-1 first leg defeat to Hamburg in their Uefa Cup quarter-final tie on Thursday night.[LNB]The Eastlands club have struggled on the road this season, mustering just one Premier League triumph away from the City of Manchester Stadium to date.[LNB]Ireland, who opened the scoring in Germany, is looking for improvement as the team aim to make a late charge for a European berth while also eyeing a comeback versus Hamburg.[LNB]"We have got more quality, but at home we need to show it and be braver," said Ireland.[LNB]"I think at times some people were hiding and when we had our backs against the wall they were not brave enough to come out and fight."[LNB]
