Hughes - Robinho not to blame

Mark Hughes insists Robinho should not be singled out as a reason for Manchester City's poor away form. The club's record signing was singled out by some reports following their defeat at Chelsea at the weekend as being particularly poor. City have registered just one away win all season, but Hughes is insistent that Robinho is one of just a number of players who need to improve their performances on the road. "I think that applies to a number of players," he said when asked about Robinho's form. "Our performances away from home, certainly in the Premier League, haven't been as good as our home form. "But there is always an opportunity to put things right, to impress, in every game we play. "That applies to every player in my team - it is not just Robinho that needs to have a positive performance. Every player in my team needs to have a positive performance."
