It is about making sure we are the best prepared team in the Premier League. That is what we are striving to do."[LNB]City are set to take a 6,000-strong travelling support to Ewood Park and Hughes can not wait for the action to get under way.[LNB]"We are just looking forward to the first game of the season," he said.[LNB]"That is the challenge for everyone. We are really chomping at the bit. We are six weeks or so into our pre-season and we just want to get on with it.[LNB]Big game"I am sure Blackburn will be thinking in those terms as well. It's a big game for them as well, they're at home and will be wanting to put on a good show for their fans.[LNB]"But we will be taking a huge number of fans and we want to put on a good show for them."[LNB]Hughes sees the season ahead as a learning curve.[LNB]"If things aren't working then you have to address them," he said. "We will take it on a game-to-game basis.[LNB]"I would back my staff against any other staff in the Premier League in terms of preparation.[LNB]"If the game doesn't go as we feel we will look to be better for the next one. It is all about learning and being better at what you do."[LNB]
