History boys! Yaya's Wembley winner ends 35 year wait for a trophy

ShareYaya Toure's 74th minute winner gave jubilant Manchester City their first trophy for 35 years and sparked scenes of joy at Wembley.[LNB] But tough disciplinarian Roberto Mancini vowed to deny his side the chance to celebrate with a drink on the train home, even though he acknowledged that his players were history-makers.[LNB] Delight: Yaya Toure is on cloud nine after scoring[LNB] Match-winner Toure - who repeated his semi-final feat against Manchester United by thumping the decisive strike - dedicated his goal to his brother Kolo, currently serving a drugs suspension.[LNB] After emerging from a mountain of ecstatic City players, Yaya Toure said: 'The dream is now real and it is so fantastic to win for the club. It is amazing to win this final to go with our Champions League place.[LNB] 'I dedicate this win to my brother because this year he has had a lot of trouble and it has been quite grim. I saw in his eyes how badly he wanted to play but he will come back stronger.'[LNB] Manager Mancini wants City to come back even stronger on Tuesday, when City have to play Stoke again.
